FERRIS® INTRODUCES THE IS® 600Z SERIES ZERO-TURN MOWER

Milwaukee, Wis., (September 24, 2012) — A compact new zero-turn mower from Ferris®, the IS® 600Z, is a superior value. Featuring patented suspension technology, this mower is bar none the best value in its class! The IS® 600Z also features a new patent pending steering system with solid rods and sealed ball bearings pivots to deliver long lasting smooth control.

Powered with your choice of a 27-gross hp* Briggs & Stratton Professional Series™ or 18.5-gross hp** Kawasaki FS600V engine, the IS® 600Z utilizes Hydro-Gear ZT-3400® transaxles for improved performance and less downtime. Available in 44” and 48” cutting widths, a foot-operated deck lift provides the operator with variable cutting heights from 1.5” to 4.5”. The IS® 600Z (48”) is equipped with the innovative iCD™ Cutting System with striping kit. The mowing deck on the IS® 600Z (44”) is made from 10-gauge steel, featuring over-lap welded corners, double thick top and reinforced side skirts.

 

There are several accessories available for the IS® 600Z to make users even more productive: FAST-Vac™ or TURBO-Pro™ Double Bagger Collection System, Hitch Kit, Mulch Kit, Arm-Rests, Flat-Free Caster Tires, and the IS® 600Z is pre-wired for an optional Light Kit.

FERRIS® INTRODUCES THE IS® 700Z SERIES ZERO-TURN MOWER

Milwaukee, Wis., (September 24, 2012) — A new zero-turn mower from Ferris®, the IS® 700Z, offers up to five feet of cutting power at an amazing value. Featuring with our patented suspension system, this mower is full of features to increase the operator’s productivity. The IS® 700Z also features a new patent pending steering system with solid rods and sealed ball bearings pivots to deliver long lasting smooth control.

Powerful engine choices include: 28-gross hp* Vanguard™ BIG BLOCK™, 28-gross hp* Briggs & Stratton Commercial Turf Series™, 23.5-gross hp** Kawasaki FS730V, or 23-gross hp** Kawasaki FS691V engine. The IS® 700Z utilizes Hydro-Gear ZT-3400® transaxles for improved performance and less downtime. Equipped with the innovative iCD™ Cutting System with striping kit, the IS 700Z is available in 52” and 61” cutting widths. FERRIS® IS 600Z WINS GIE+EXPO 2012 DEALER CHOICE AWARD

Louisville, KY., (October 26, 2012) — The new IS 600Z is the third Ferris product to win a Dealers Choice Award from Power Equipment Trade magazine. The Power Equipment Trade Dealers Choice Awards honors top new products during GIE+EXPO 2012, Louisville, Ky., October 23-26—as voted on by dealers—in five categories: Wheeled Equipment, Handheld Equipment, Industrial/Engine, Accessories/Attachments and Business Management Services. Five finalists in each category are chosen to be voted on at the show.

The Ferris IS 600Z won in the Wheeled Equipment category. Other nominees were Billy Goat Force Wheeled Blower, Cub Cadet RZT S Mower, Mean Green WBX-33 Mower, and Ventrac 4500Z Tractor.

New 2+2 Year Limited Warranty For Ferris® Ride-On Mowers

Milwaukee, Wis., (October 1, 2012) —Our customers have different needs, and now we’ve got them covered with one simple warranty on all Ferris® ride-on mowers, the 2+2 Year Limited Warranty. The new warranty takes effect immediate on all ride-on mowers, including all zero-turns series, Evolution™ and ProCut™ S models, retailed after September 1st, 2012 and beginning with serial number 2015362300 and up. Ferris ride-on mowers are covered for 4 years (48 months) or 500 hours, whichever occurs first. During the first two-years (24 months) the mower is covered for unlimited hours. Belts, tires, brake pads, hoses and battery and blades are covered for 90 days.
